Organic waste management through Rapid Composting

Composting of the most simple and most effective method to dispose the organic waste. It is a science but not rocket science and can be implemented by a layman.  Still a lot of efforts and understanding was required to introduce this technology of Rapid Composting in the field.
Fungi are the major decomposers. Among the different classes of fungi, those belonging to ascomycetes are prevalent in particular during the initial phases of leaf litter degradation. These fungi can be grown under ambient condition on commonly available substrates.
